Some ideas to get started

Idea #1 : Start googling. Looking for some great and professional website design. The google keywords should be "cool educational .edu web" or "nice joomla templates+jquery" or "basic web design tips" <-- this is true

Idea #2 : Review/compare/analyst of all .edu.my websites in Malaysia and create a special post about it. Thoroughly and details. Get some points from it. DOs and DON'Ts and anything related.

Idea #3 : Start from scratch. Just grab my pen and paper. Then, draw some basic rectangles, columns, header contents, sidebar, footer etc. Fireup GIMP and make some coloured layout.

Idea #4 : Just make some research directly at 960.gs, www.gantry-framework.org/ and jquery. Fyi, the current website is using Joomla as the web CMS. Using Gantry and some not-too-kewl effect from jquery will be spice the web up.

Idea #5 : Define the problems. List everything that looks really wrong in the websites. List the solutions for it. List a new great suggestions / functions / layout / jquery effects / what should be on frontpage / how to manage billions of photo image / how to tell my boss that we need some fresh good looking website instead of the classic-oh-no! website.

Mission #1 : Beautify the webs

I got 2 websites to redesign before year 2012. To be specific, an education webs. Yes, with an edu.my at the back. Currently, those websites have an old-fashion looked, sloppy source codes and really fugly to be accurate.
